April 21st Partner Peer Gathering in Seattle

Together, 2000+ accomplished, intelligent, hardworking people have made SVP a leader in engaged philanthropy: the largest individual donor network in the world, which has invested tens of millions of dollars in cash and volunteer consulting in hundreds of change-making organizations.
Together, we’ve faced down a financial crisis while continually raising the bar for nonprofits and philanthropists alike.
Now is the time for partners to come together to explore and design the future of your SVP and the network.
- What do we want our SVP’s legacy to be?
- In what direction do our shared values lead us?
- How can we achieve a balance between service and leadership?
- What are the opportunities that SVP can seize?
Join us for the 2010 Partner Peer Gathering
To answer these compelling questions, partners will take time for strategic thinking about their own work and that of their SVP. We will hear from a panel of partners about their SVP strategies and why their planning process moved their SVPs toward key goals; we will have a live-action experience with critically evaluating and contributing to a draft strategic plan and we'll finish the day with our own expanded knowledge of all that strategic thinking and planning encompasses:
- SVP’s unique value proposition - differentiating SVP in the philanthropic and nonprofit markets
- Changes to SVP programs that position us to achieve our potential
- Prioritizing what is essential to partner satisfaction and what we can leave behind as we go to the next level
- Key elements of a successful, sustainable funding model for SVP
- Steps to leverage the current climate which celebrates social innovation and volunteerism
- A tally of the resources on hand to take us there
