April 17:  The Art and Science of Fund Development
8:30 am – 4 pm breakfast and lunch included
Every SVP can be stronger with a solid, practical fund development plan.  We’ve pulled together three top notch fund development professionals, who already know the ins and outs of SVP, to share their wisdom and tricks with us.  We’ll spend the day with Lori Jacobwith, Brian Saber and Richard Tollefson who will guide us as we explore a new, proven effective funding model.  After the big picture presentation, we’ll rotate to small group discussion tables for focused time with each facilitator on strategy, messaging and tactics.  This opportunity, combined with the workbook, will set you up for success – and a fresh fund development plan.  No surprise that this workshop will be infused with the new SVP branding work.  Look for homework in March so you can leave this workshop prepared to execute! This day will be the most beneficial to you if you bring a small cadre of board members and partners so you can capitalize on the momentum you build in Scottsdale.    
 
  April 18:  SVP Staff Day

For SVP staff only - At the SVP Conference in October we heard from many of you requesting focused time together to brainstorm, problem-solve and collaborate. This is your opportunity! Specifics to follow but know that we will delve into:  

• Translating the SVP brand – hands-on practice and what’s ahead
• Leading effectively in a small SVP office
• Utilizing the SVP Partner Profile Data  to guide and increase partner engagement
• Small group work on special interest topics:  Collective Impact; Encore  Fellows; Fast Pitch; LinkedIn Partnership

 
Other On-Site Activities
April 16:

• SVP Chairs’ Forum for all SVP board chairs from 8 am – 1 pm - breakfast and lunch provided
• SVPI Board of Directors Meeting from 12 noon – 5 pm 
• Collective Action Conversation from 6 pm – 9 pm– no host dinner with SVPI Board Chair Lance Fors for those interested in moving this effort forward.
