Dylan Moxness: Not a Lot of Fluff

“I think SVP is the Point B of the nonprofit world,” says Dylan Moxness, Practice Director, Portland Market Leader for Point B. “Throughout our seven US markets, we focus on execution and measurable outcomes, not on a lot of fluff or “shelfware” that never gets off the ground. Like SVP partners, our associates are strongly committed to their communities and the overwhelming majority is deeply involved in making change. In fact, more than one quarter of our Portland associates currently serve on a local nonprofit board.”

Dylan Moxness“I think SVP is the Point B of the nonprofit world,” says Dylan Moxness, Practice Director, Portland Market Leader for Point B.  “Throughout our seven US markets, we focus on execution and measurable outcomes, not on a lot of fluff or “shelfware” that never gets off the ground.  Like SVP partners, our associates are strongly committed to their communities and the overwhelming majority is deeply involved in creating change.  In fact, more than one quarter of our Portland associates currently serve on a local nonprofit board.”

Point B, an employee-owned management consulting firm, helps its clients develop strategic insights and translate them into impact. Point B's clients look to it for industry and functional expertise combined with the ability to execute. They are regularly honored by many publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Consulting Magazine, as an exceptional place to work.

Like SVP, Point B continues to build a coalition of smart dedicated people focused on attaining something good for the community and measuring those outcomes.

“I don’t know of any other nonprofit that works as rigorously as SVP,” says Dylan. “It's our privilege to sponsor SVP gatherings when the network convenes in our markets.” In 2010 Point B sponsored the conference in Long Beach, California, as well.

Dylan is excited to be part of Portland’s Ready for Kindergarten Campaign in Portland, not only because he and his wife have a pre-kindergartner, but “because it’s the right thing to do for our community.”
