Nancy Cannon-O'Connell, Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund

Nancy Cannon-O’Connell is an executive coach who brings over twenty years of management experience to her work with senior managers and teams. She has held senior positions in strategy development with two national health care firms and has consulted extensively on issues such as management responses to accelerated market changes, leadership development in times of organizational change, and product development strategies to meet shifting customer demands. Her consulting engagements have included work in South America, Europe and South Africa. In the course of her work, Nancy has coached/mentored scores of managers and has been highly effective in developing key high potential individuals into successful professionals and members of outstanding teams.

Nancy’s diverse portfolio of business experience coupled with her strong interpersonal skills create a thoughtful approach to problem solving that readily builds trust and acceptance, and make her an asset to her coaching clients.

Dr. Cannon-O’Connell earned a Ph.D. in health economics and policy at Brandeis University. She has had advanced training in conflict resolution at Harvard University, training in performance & behavioral assessments from the Center for Creative Leadership, and she received her professional coaching certification at the Hudson Institute (Santa Barbara, CA). She is a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Originally a partner (and Managing Partner) with SVP San Diego, Nancy is now a partner with Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2), a strategic partner of SVPI.
