Megan Leftwich, SVP Portland
Megan Leftwich is a founding Partner of Social Venture Partners Portland and served on its board from 2001 to 2006, most recently as Board President. She chaired the Strategic Planning Team, participated on two investment teams, served as the Membership Chair, and continues as a member of the Finance/Development Committee and team lead for one of SVPP's most recent investments. She joined the SVPI board in June 2006.
Megan spent 19 years at Intel Corporation and left in 2002 after a career in finance and business operations, with a concentration in supply/demand management. Previously she sat on the board of Summerbridge Portland, an enrichment program that helps prepare low-income, highly motivated middle school students for educational success, where she chaired the Strategic Planning committee. She has also volunteered with the Oregon Humane Society and the Nature Conservancy.
Megan holds and M.B.A. from the University of Portland and a B.A. in Physical Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley. She and her husband, also an active SVPP partner, enjoy gardening and soccer and spending time with their grown son and three dogs.
