Lisa Norton, SVP Seattle

Lisa Norton is an active member of Social Venture Partners in Seattle, currently serving as a board member, as SVP lead partner for Thrive by Five Washington, and as a member of SVP's Education Collective Action Team. Professionally, Lisa maintains a law practice concentrating on organizational, governance and tax matters for nonprofit organizations. She is currently working on a book: "How to be a Global Nonprofit." In addition to volunteering through SVP, Lisa volunteers her time to various nonprofit organizations, currently serving as a board member (and immediate past Chair) of the Board of World Association for Children and Parents. Lisa and her husband are the parents of four children, two of whom were adopted from China. Lisa is passionate about serving the needs of children and families, whether they reside in our own community or abroad. Lisa grew up in New York and holds a BA from the University of Rochester, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MPA from the University of Washington Evans School.
