Claude Case, SVP Santa Barbara

Claude CaseClaude Case has been a Partner with SVP Arizona since April 2000.  He was a lead partner for five years with Arizona Quest for Kids.  Claude was a member of the SVPAZ Board of Directors for six years and was active on the re-investment committee which reviews the investment portfolio annually.  After earning his A.B. from Princeton in 1964, Claude served in the Peace Corps in Colombia for two years. After gaining a M.Ed. from Harvard, he taught High School in Concord, MA. Claude met his wife Susan in 1967 in South Carolina, working for the Southern Teaching Program as civil rights activists. The Cases moved to Arizona in 1969 where Claude spent over 30 years from 1971 to 2002 as CEO of his family's tire distribution business.  Mid-career, he polished his commercial skills at Harvard Graduate School of Business earning an O.P.M. in 1990. From 1997-2003 he served as CEO of American Car Care Centers, a national tire and auto repair franchise group with over 1000 points of sale.  In 2007, soon after moving to Santa Barbara, Claude initiated the establishment of Social Venture Partners Santa Barbara, which joined the SVP network in October 2008.
